West Chester Porchfest is organized by the West Chester Green Team to promote community building, foster connections and celebrate the return of spring and the beginning of summer! How better than with music all of genres, as well as other types of performances and activities.
Porchfest is free to all! Performers volunteer their time and talents and hosts provide their porches and lawns in the Southwest Quadrant of the borough of West Chester (Church St. to Bradford Ave. and Miner St. to Price St.). Porchfest is organized and run by an all-volunteer committee.
Porchfest also offers porches for children (reading porch by the West Chester Free Library, art & craft porch by the Chester County Art Association, face painting by Birl Girl Designs and many more). There are many food trucks serving to a variety of tastes.
Sprinkled in between the bands, the WCGT offers environmental education tables like those informing the public about Dark Skies and Living Landscapes and information booths focusing on pollinator gardens and native plants.
